Service Description

Join published playwright Matthew Hinton for an exploration of character creation and meaningful monologues, and a push to start a one-act play of your own. Bring a lunch or snack for the break. Character Creation and meaningful Monologues Character is one of the four pillars of good storytelling. In these exercises, let your whimsical side take control to create a new character (or 2 or 3 or 4), and then craft a monologue to help the audience understand their origin story! Start That One-Act! Having trouble getting started? This short stack of prompts will prime your stage-pen with some ready-made story openers. Take the idea and run (don’t walk) with it!

Cancelation Policy

If booking a multiple session course, like the circus camp or a writing workshop, or a private booking for circus training, your cancellation must be received a week prior for a full refund. Single sessions, like Hoop Yourself Fabulous, will not be refunded if canceled.
