About the event
The Foolbright Scholars Play Lab is a monthly gathering for grown-ups who suspect there may be more to life than apps, calendars, inboxes, and alerts. Each session features a different guest artist, theatre maker, educator, or creative practitioner, who brings their own unique approach and focus. From improvisation and movement to storytelling, visual art, clowning, writing, and collaborative creation, every Play Lab offers a new way to explore, experiment, and come alive.
No experience required, only a willingness to play. We encourage the beginner-est of beginners!
This first session will be led by The Foolbright Scholars, Jenny Hill and Chris Bodwitch. We'll be digging into some seriously silly curatorial research with The Museum of Things That Mean Something Else, a traveling collection of ordinary objects with extraordinary meanings.
