Poetry that needs to be published.
Paper Kite Press began in 2004 as an art gallery and studio in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania, where poems filled the air alongside art, laughter, and community. After publishing over 20 titles, and running countless events, (the editors, Jennifer Hill and Dan Waber) put the press on hiatus in 2012 as we navigated life changes, and other projects took wing. Now that we've landed in downtown Lancaster, we’re dreaming up new publications and events, and keeping poetry in motion. All of the PKP titles are out of print, but many are available at Stanza Books in Beacon, NY. If you click on any of the covers in the slideshow below they will take you to where you can buy the book online. You can find a complete list of titles here.
We will be open to submissions in the future. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, funds from the Catch That Poetic Sunday Drift workshop will go directly toward funding the next book project. Consider taking a workshop to help keep Paper Kite books aloft!
