Foolbright Scholars Play Lab with Angie Foster

This session of Play Lab will be led by Angie Foster, of Nose to Nose of North America.

Clowning is a state of playfulness that allows us to experience a child-like, naive, and vulnerable state of being.  How can we liberate ourselves from the "shoulds" and "should nots" that can constrain our natural capacity to be authentic, playful and creative?  We'll explore through movement, games, and improvisation, and use the clown's ability to take risks and put logic aside to make way for the imagination.  What is important is not "getting it right" but rather finding the magic of being surprised by what reveals itself when all else falls away.
